The reconstruction of incomplete early music involves a variety of approaches ranging from traditional music philology and analysis to computational and creative approaches. Organized in collaboration between the Haute école de musique de Genève-Neuchâtel (HES-SO), the Università di Padova, and the Université de Genève, the conference Reconstructing and re-sounding early music aims to present a wide scope of musical reconstruction projects, focusing on repertoires from the Middle Ages to the eighteenth century. The conference will be punctuated by moments musicaux by musicians and ensembles from the Geneva area.
